My Story
I always knew I was great at what I did but I didn’t know how to convert it into a way that my ideal clients would immediately know it too. The thought of sending someone a message was the scariest thing to me in the beginning. Until one day I built up some courage and sent a DM to one of my most engaged followers without the scripts, cold pitching or sharing another pretty piece of sales content.
She replied: ‘I always wanted to work with you but tbh I just didn’t know what to say in the DMs’
This one conversation made me realize that direct communication with your audience truly matters. Nurturing is a major part in making consistent sales. When I found out that 74% of people are more likely to buy from you if they can send you a quick message over taking a call I went all in with DMs.
But this wasn’t a huge coming to Jesus moment when it all happened because I’ve played this DM selling game before. I’ve tried to grow my business by following your favorite expert strategies, binge buying courses and low ticket offers to find answers to my burning questions. I’ve even sent those cold DMs and took the steps as I was told to only get very little results. This was my tipping point where I knew things needed to change. There had to be a easier and better way to sell by chat.
I decided to double my weekly sales conversations and this gave me enough feedback to refine. Once things were more flowy and predictable to get fast results. I mapped out a blueprint and perfected this sales process which brought in 90% of my clients without sales calls. Making $4k in 3 days was just the icing on the cake. Success leaves clues and you don’t have to work hard to achieve it.
Looking back on the day that someone trusted me enough to get their card out and pay me by texting them online was the moment my mind shifted. I knew that something about my life going forward would be different. This approach for signing clients was the autonomy that I needed to grow my business without draining my resources.
